Everything you need to know.

The DPA 4080 CORE+ is the flagship miniature cardioid lavalier microphone for broadcast, live events, houses of worship and theater — anywhere directional pickup must reject PA bleed, monitor spill and background noise that would swamp an omnidirectional lav. Acoustically pre-equalized for chest placement with a gentle 4 dB presence boost at 4–6 kHz, it delivers crisp, intelligible speech straight off the clip with the legendary DPA clarity trusted by broadcasters worldwide.

DPA's CORE+ amplifier technology extends the dynamic range to a typical 106 dB and eliminates distortion artifacts entirely up to the mic's clipping point, so sudden vocal peaks stay clean. The integrated shockmount and pop filter live inside the discreet clothing clip, while the IP58-rated capsule shrugs off sweat and humidity night after night. Choose the termination that matches your wireless system: 3-pin LEMO for Sennheiser/Wisycom body-packs, TA4F Mini-XLR for Shure, locking 3.5mm Mini-Jack for Sennheiser Evolution Wireless, or DPA's MicroLock.
