Drum Workshop's level of quality and reliability are unsurpassed in the drum world. This applies to everything in their product catalog from drum kits to hardware to bits and pieces. No corners are cut and the end result is a better product with better performance.
This 4-piece shell pack does not disappoint. Using a combination of North American Hard Rock Maple and African Mahogany, the sound is quite possibly the best of both woods. The drums achieve the warmth of vintage drums and the presence and volume that the Collector's Series is known for. Top all of the great features with a stunning Broken Glass wrapped finish for the icing on the cake. To have a kit that looks as good as it sounds is the ultimate in satisfaction. Explosive lows and musical sustain are definite sonic signatures of this particular kit. In a sea of imitators, DW reigns as the gold standard for drummers from all walks of life.
