The Electro-Voice EVID-C8.2-G2 is a powerful 8-inch coaxial ceiling speaker designed for large-scale commercial installations. Delivering strong bass extension, high-output performance, and excellent speech intelligibility, it is ideal for environments such as auditoriums, schools, retail stores, restaurants, and houses of worship. Its bezel-less magnetic grille ensures a clean ceiling appearance that blends seamlessly with modern architecture.

This ceiling speaker features selectable transformer taps for 70V/100V distributed audio systems, along with an 8-ohm bypass for direct low-impedance operation. The front-baffle tap switch makes adjustments quick and simple during installation. Built for durability and safety, the EVID-C8.2-G2 carries UL and CSA certifications and includes an EZ-Install system for secure mounting.

With its larger 8-inch woofer compared to smaller models, the EVID-C8.2-G2 offers extended low-frequency response and greater headroom, making it the go-to option for spaces that require both full-range music reproduction and clear voice announcements.
