The Marantz CD 60 is a dedicated CD player built for listeners who prioritize source fidelity in a traditional two-channel setup. Finished in black, it pairs with integrated amplifiers and stereo receivers where a clean, full-featured disc transport is needed. Its analog line output delivers 2.2 Vrms, and a front-panel headphone output rated at 28 mW into 32 ohms adds direct listening capability without an external amp.

Beyond standard CD playback, the CD 60 accepts a USB source and decodes DSD and high-resolution PCM files up to 192/24, supporting formats including FLAC, WAV, ALAC, AAC, MP3, WMA, and native DSD. Signal-to-noise ratio reaches 118 dB on USB PCM, and total harmonic distortion holds to 0.0005% on PCM and 0.0006% on DSD.
