Marantz MM8077 7-Channel Power Amplifier
The Marantz MM8077 is a seven-channel discrete power amplifier designed to provide dedicated amplification in home theater systems where the internal amplification of an AV processor is insufficient. At 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms across all seven channels, it delivers consistent, high-output performance for full surround and height speaker arrays.
Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are available across all seven channels, switchable via a selector on the unit. Signal-to-noise ratio is rated at 105 dB, and power consumption is 800 watts under load. The 5U chassis measures 17.32 x 7.29 x 15.1 inches and weighs 45.41 lb, reflecting the substantial internal power supply needed to sustain seven channels of amplification simultaneously.
