Made in Japan, this Birch Custom Absolute drum kit from Yamaha is highly sought after. The birch shells have a nice bright tone with a quick decay. Perfect for recording or playing live. The drums sound bigger than they are. The 20x17 bass drum provides a lot of punch while still having a roundness to fill a room.  The tom toms cut through with clarity.  This drum set can handle almost any situation.  The Yamaha Birch Custom Absolute would be a sound engineer's dream.
